OUR FACILITIES INCLUDE:

• All weather gallop - The gallop at Great Bradley Oak Stud is an all weather 4 furlong oval canter, with long sweeping bends, 2 straights and Martin Collins Ecotrack surface.

​

• Olympic sized arena - Our olympic size 60m x 40m arena has 9 foot high close board douglas fir fencing. The arena has a Martin Collins Active Track surface.

​

• Lunge pens - We have 2 full sized covered lunge pens with close panel high board surrounding fencing and Martin Collins “lunge pen mix” surface providing a very safe environment for breaking horses

​

• Horse walkers - We have 3 covered walkers which take up to 6 horses each and are invaluable pieces of equipment for light exercise. The floors of the walkers are purpose made Claydon rubber brick for an excellent, safe exercise surface for the horses. The walkers are all lined with rubber, swept and disinfected on a daily basis.

• Paddocks & grassland - There are 21 paddocks in total, suitable for the different needs of the horses, all providing well established and regularly managed turf. The larger paddocks provide 102 acres for longer term, all year turnout and are ideal for rotating turnout pens. There are currently 10 post and rail nursery paddocks for daily turnout, ideal for horses needing a more restricted turnout and for spelling racehorses

• Vet Box - Our vet box has padded walls and a rubber floor. Direct access to plug sockets and very good lighting makes it the ideal work place for any veterinary treatment taking place.

• Loading Ramp -  An essential for loading and unloading racehorses from lorries. Transport lorries of any size can be accommodated  

​

• Stabling - Our stabling is comprised of a main brick built courtyard and tailor built Monarch Barns. All floors are fully rubbered and we have several boxes that have rubber padded walls. These boxes are perfect when we have horses that are very fresh from being on box rest or restricted work.
